The latest
addition to GeoTek's drill rig fleet is an ultimate auger machine,
CME-95. Whether it is a large diameter auger hole or deep rotary job, no
other rig is going to get it done faster or more efficiently then the
CME-95.
The rig has a 38-foot mast, rotary torque of 31,000ft lbs., pullback
force of 62,830 lbs. and 33,135 lbs. of down pressure.
The rig can be used for deep water/soil sampling in the overburden,
installation of dewatering and/or monitoring wells etc. The machine is
outfitted with 4-1/4, 6-11/4, 8-1/4, 10-1/4 and 12-1/4 inch ID augers
and is capable of drilling holes as deep as 300 feet.
The rig is complemented with support trailers for augers and a special
mobile activated carbon water treatment unit for contaminated well
development and sampling.
