member GeoTek Engineering, Inc. (GeoTek) is a drilling contractor and a
geotechnical, environmental, and remediation engineering consulting firm
working on many federal, state and municipal construction and design
projects.
GeoTek’s
drilling crew is pictured taking 6” OD core samples of concrete slurry
wall installed as a part of seepage control at West Hill Dam in
Uxbridge, MA. The cores are taken for quality control of concrete
placement and panel joint check on this Army Corps of Engineers project.
GeoTek’s drilling rigs are equipped with state-of-the-art coring tools
allowing 2”, 3.5”, 4” and 6” cores to be recovered and their
crews have vast experience in coring of soil-cement, jet grout and
concrete with maximum possible recovery.
