performing hazardous materials collection, removal and packaging for
subsequent transportation and disposal. Tasks include removal of
mercury-containing fluorescent bulbs, removal of PCB-containing
fluorescent light ballasts, removal of mercury switches and other
metallic mercury-containing manufactured articles, removal of
lead-acid and nickel-cadmium batteries, collection of spent oils from
mechanical equipment and the packaging of discarded chemical products,
such as waste paints, adhesives, solvents, boiler treatment chemicals,
cleaning agents, petroleum products and aerosol cans.
