personnel includes:
Dr. Julia
Sigalovsky, P.G., President of
GeoTek, has extensive academic training and broad expertise in geochemistry, geology, and
material sciences. She holds BS and MS degrees in Geology and Geochemistry and a Ph. D. in
Mineralogy and Geochemistry. She is a registered Professional Geologist and her background
includes high-tech research at MIT. She is responsible for administrative
and financial management of the company, marketing, job estimating and bidding,
client relations, human resources.
Mr. Michael Sigalovsky, P.G,
Vice President of Field Operations, is a registered Professional
Geologist and holds BS and MS degrees in Geology and Geophysics. He has extensive training
and experience in Acoustic Engineering and his background includes hands-on experience
with state-of-the-art geotechnical, geophysical and environmental instrumentation. He is
responsible for management of all field operations, construction and site exploration
activities.
Mr. Gary Buckman, Remediation Manager in the area of transportation and disposal of
contaminated materials, has over 11 years experience in the environmental industry and has
a strong expertise in removal, treatment and disposal of hazardous or contaminated wastes
and materials. Mr. Buckman's expertise includes providing coordination of all phases for
disposal of hazardous or contaminated waste including preparing, reviewing and approving
bids and quotations, drafting submittals, and managing the transportation and disposal of
waste. In addition he had been responsible for safety and health, regulatory compliance
issues, and management of a lab pack and analytical services. Mr. Buckman holds a B.S.
degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University.
Mr. James A.
Schiff,
Geotechnical Engineer /Project Manager, holds BS in Civil Engineering and has over 21
years of experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering (17 years with GZA
Geo-Environmental). His experience in environmental engineering and remediation field
includes working on over 200 environmental projects with unique experience on 11 CERCLA
sites in MA, NH, and VT. His geotechnical experience ranges from subsurface investigation
planning, logging of borings, installation of geotechnical instrumentation, producing
geotechnical foundation reports on over 75 construction sites.
Mr. Brian W. Longval,
LSP, Manager of
Environmental Division, has over 10 years experience in the environmental industry and has
strong expertise in a wide range of environmental issues. His project experience includes:
environmental assessments; research, development and coordination of surface and
subsurface investigation programs for environmental assessment purposes;
Brownfields; Underground
Storage Tank closures; NPDES exclusion permitting and de-watering discharge testing and
treatment; Soil Gas Surveys and Environmental Impact Assessments. One of Mr.
Longvals major areas of expertise is hands-on knowledge of the Massachusetts
Contingency Plan including all required Department of Environmental Protection submittals.
Mr. Longval holds a BS in Geology from Salem State College, Salem, MA. Other coursework
includes work in Economics and Business Administration at Babson College, Wellesley, MA.
Mr. Donald
Rosinha is the Drilling Foreman with over 20 years of experience in environmental and geotechnical
drilling including drive sample borings, hollow stem auger borings, rock core borings,
angle drilling, as well as sample collection with split-spoons and Shelby tubes.
